Framing and Joists
The structural backbone. We never reuse joists from a deck that’s being replaced because it failed. Full new frame to current code.
Ledger and Rim Joist
On older homes, the original flashing was often skipped, which lets water into the wall behind it. We assess the rim joist before the new ledger goes on. If there’s damage, it gets fixed before framing.
